Which image formats can I use?

JPEG, PNG, WebP and AVIF. Each image becomes one page, and the page is sized to the image so nothing is cropped or letterboxed.

How do I control the page order?

Pages follow the order of the list on screen. Because most file pickers sort by name, giving your files names like 01, 02, 03 before you select them is the easiest way to get a long document in the right order.

Will the images be compressed again?

Accepted Answer

JPEGs are embedded as they are, so there is no second round of lossy compression. If your images are large and the PDF comes out bigger than you want, compress them first with the image compressor and then build the PDF.
